The Ritz Hotel in central London. 18/02/04: The hotel is at the centre of an industrial tribunal, after former deputy restaurant manager Edip Adanir who is of Turkish origin, brought a claim of wrongful dismissal and racial discrimination. *19/02/04: Edip Adanir, 49, of Barnet, Enfield, north London, who has claimed at an Employment Tribunal in London that he endured a campaign of harassment at the Ritz hotel in the capital aimed at making his job as its deputy restaurant manager unbearable. He claimed that Luc Delafosse, the hotel's general manager, was determined to create a French clique by employing only other French people to the senior restaurant posts.
