The Old Traditional Elgin Academy. Has now been transformed to a College. New Academy was built on farm land [Morriston Farm] next to Bishopmill Primary. The Academy is built behind where the old farm house stood[ farmer was Charlie Watt] Farm covered the area from the primary school down and across the opposite side of A96 to River Lossie. The Eight Acres Hotel was also built on this farm land.At one time Old Arthur McKerron[sen]the plumber, lived in the only house on that stretch of road.
