Fourteen year old schoolboy Christopher Hughes of Ponders End, Middlesex, takes an oil can around the 15 ton railway engine of which he is the proud owner. The engine was built in 1896 by Avelin & Porter, and is to be presented by Christopher to the Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Society, of which he is a member.
