Often called the 'King of Soul', Otis Redding's most famous song '(Sitting On) The Dock Of The Bay' wasn't released until after his death. It became the first posthumously released record to become number 1 on the billboard 'Hot 100' chart.
What a tragedy to have died so early on but we are enjoying his good songs. One wonders where he would have gone musically. Love his songs, they are timeless!
