Millennium Bridge Tyne 2000

The Millennium Bridge on the River Tyne in Newcastle. It is the world's first rotating bridge and was put into place by a giant crane. The bridge is made from a pair of steel arches and the structure can be pivoted to allow large boats to sail underneath it.
