he ‘Plebes’ (any one not being a Chief was potentially a Plebe) and making them sweep up the leaves which would fall to a depth of 6 inches over the entire grounds! The school uniform consisted of grey shirt, green jumper and shorts!! Even in the harsh Scottish winter everyone was walking around in the freezing cold with blue and purple legs exposed. Don’t believe the Hype of the official History of Keil School book doing the rounds, which presents a whitewashed view of events and individuals. This place was an educational and institutional backwater! There were always two camps. Those who played the game and accepted what was going on, happy in the knowledge that one day they might become a Chief. And then there was the Resistance. For those in the latter camp-we salute you!
