I would say that Star Wars completely change my film-viewing life. Until then I didn't like science fiction. Hearing it on the radio was actually what started it all :D It was performed on Radio 1 I think, using some of the film cast. It awakened my imagination :)

I got involved with the Star Wars make up artists then. I even designed patterns for Wookies. Now it can be done with special effects, but then it was a bit more basic. But it was fun. I also held in my hand Superman - a barbie sized doll that was used for round the world flight. I stood on the fake polar bear used in the film too. I held Jonathon Price's severed head from Omen. And finally my mother helped make noses for Larry Olivier.
