BSE - McDonalds customers 1996

Undeterred by the absence of beefburgers, customers tuck into other food items from the McDonald's menu at the chain's Marble Arch store. The company announced that they have stopped using British beef for their burgers following the Government's announcement that there may be a connection between BSE (Mad Cow Disease) and the human equivalent.
